NEW Rules for face coverings/ masks

From 24 July, face coverings will be mandatory in shops and supermarkets in England. They are already mandatory on public transport and in hospitals. People face fines of up to £100 for not complying, but certain groups are exempt, including children under 11 and people with a disability for whom wearing a mask would cause physical or mental distress. The rule does not apply to retail staff
